This is a socket 478 with 423 pins.I have a friend which I looked inside to see why the computer kept on freezing. Turned out to be heat issues and then noticed that the cpu fanheatsink is loose and not tightly against the CPU. Closer inspection, I realized that one of the two the metal clip on was not secured. There were broken plastic parts at the bottom of the case. Now I realize that I need to replace this certain plastic part where the metal clip should be clipped onto. It is attached to the board with two screws. Any idea where I could look to find an identical replacement plastic part? What would the name of this be so I could try to google it.In fact, I tried to use two plastic tie cables to loop it around to secure the fan. The computer will only stay on for about 30 mins before it freezes. Obviously not good.

Its not meant for the extreme overclocker or the silent freak, but at its low price point you can hardly demand that. The NPH AM2 is capable of keeping your latest AM2S939 CPU running cool and (very) quiet (if you reduce the fan speed). Pros: Good performance at stock speeds, ok performance at overclocked.
